1- Most of us get nervous if we suddenly see a pothole while riding a bike. And when we get nervous, we are in danger without our knowledge. So never get nervous no matter what the situation is while riding a bike.

2- The mistake we all do when we get nervous is to hold the bike hand brake i.e. the front wheel brake hard to stop the bike. But this can never be done, if you need emergency braking, use the engine brake. If you cannot brake the engine, hold the brakes of the two wheels of the bike equally, so that your bike does not slip.

3- If the hole is not too big then there is no need to brake unnecessarily, hold the handle of the bike tightly and continue. Many of us worry about the damage to the bike, but always remember one thing, if you go too late while doing the emergency brake, the damage will be much more.

4- As soon as you see a hole in front, release the pickup of the bike and if possible, lower the gear of the bike, it will reduce the speed of your bike a lot.
